My mom reminded me that somehow I neglected to announce the 3 winners who will receive a copy of We Are Girls Who Love to Run for their entries in the Virtual Launch Party. Not sure how THAT happened . . . I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that the week of the launch went by in a *flash*, that I still haven't caught up on my sleep from the chaos of last week, or that I've increased my running these last 2 weeks, too (HOORAY for that, I'm already noticing a difference in my muscle tone, strength and patience with others - cool!). I am tempted to blame it on the return of the sun, though, which HAS gotten me away from the computer and outside where we really SHOULD be any chance we have.
Anyhow . . . thanks to everyone for sticking with me and for participating in the party, it was an honor to have you! Winners, please be sure to contact me so I can get a copy to you!
Using the totally non-scientific approach of drawing names out of a hat . . .
Drumroll, please . . . . brrrrr . . . ummmmmm . . . prummmmmm . . . . thrummmmmmm . . . . . (what does the sound of a drum look like, exactly?)
The winner for the recipe entry (and there sure were MANY great ones!) goes to:
* local gal, Carrie (who keeps things quick and easy so she can tend to her 3 growing kiddos)
Hats off to the winner for the inspirational story:
* Diana (who no doubt inspires MANY with her running and her kindness)
And for the photo entry:
* Kevin (true, we can't see his face, but he's so fast you'd really only get to see the back of his head in a race, anyhow)
I now return you to your regularly scheduled blog reading. As for me, my daughter is stirring from her nap (my son is soon to follow, I'm sure) and the sunny day demands we take a walk to the park to fill what is left of the afternoon.
Happy running, everyone!
